1. Ray Montgomery Clark - My Dad - Oh, how I love this man!!! I don't know how he survived raising 2 daughters. I am so thankful for his courage - that he didn't take the easy way out but stayed engaged in our relationship even through my teenage years! Yikes! Now that's courage! I love you Dad!!! Thanks so much for always keeping a shoulder available for me to cry on.

2. Joseph Charles Wright (Joe, Bop) - My Father-In-Law - Wow, I am so blessed to have married into such an incredible family!!! Thank you Joe for accepting me into your family so warmly and without reservation. You have treated me like a true daughter. Thanks for your patience and for ignoring all of the screams as I have been learning to wakeboard! Ha!
3. Father God (Lord, Heavenly Father, etc. Ha!)- Is there any better?????? Oh course not! Thank you Lord for loving me this past year while I have been so unlovable. Thank you for not giving up on me and giving me what I deserve. Thank you for holding to YOUR Plan for my life! I love you and pray that I will be able to be an example of Your Love to my children one day.
4. Justin Charles Wright (Judd) - My husband - No, we don't have a living child yet, but Judd has 2 in Heaven and leads (in a somewhat Fatherly way) many as he encourages them to live for Christ. I love you so much baby and am SO proud of the man that you are!!! You will be a WONDERFUL father one day!!!
Thank you God for the Fathers in my life!!! I love you guys!!!!

Beautiful! I can't wait for the day that you and Judd have your baby...he WILL be a wonderful father and you WILL be the best MOM!!!! XOXO
ReplyDeleteThanks SO much Amy! I talked with Courtney yesterday! She is GREAT! Thanks SO much for getting me in touch with her! I can't believe that she and I have the exact same genetic mutation! Crazy! It was so encouraging to hear that she is two weeks from having a healthy baby - and to hear that the shots aren't too bad!
ReplyDeleteKaty - I know 2 of your fathers and totally agree on their awesomeness!! By the way...do you read Adrienne's blog (she is friend of Angie Smith's). I believe she has the same gene mutation related to clotting and she is carrying her baby to viablity finally with the help of an aggressive proactive plan by her doctors!!! Of course, this is after the Lord blessed her with adopting 3 precious children!! Let me know if you want her blog info.
